The Zulu word for a bow is “thoba”.    The verb is “to bow”;   that is to humble and submit yourself.  In Sotho “thoba” means “to sooth” and that is precisely what we wish for you when you visit Thoba. Submit yourself to the call of the African Bushveld and become one with the spectacular nature that awaits you, allow your senses to heighten and come away with an experience that will live with you forever and a remembrance of a soul that has been soothed.

Thoba offers ethical Bow hunting to local and international hunters.  Only a bow hunter knows the deep feeling that connects human with nature. Thoba also offers getaways – a time to replenish amongst the abundant wildlife and amazing birdlife that quietly surround this 1500 hectare privately owned game farm.  We offer bow hunting of all the plains game and bush species: Impala, Blue wildebeest, Kudu, Waterbuck, Blesbuck, Eland, Gemsbok, Red hartebeest, Zebra, Duiker and Steenbuck.
