About:

Situated on the banks of the Elands river in the scenic Elands Valley,  Saragossa Game reserve lies
approximately 20km east of the Waterval Boven tunnel.  This luxurious nature and wildlife retreat covers a variety of ecosystems,
from riverine forest to savannah and bushveld. The reserve has an aura of calmness and serenity, and is the
ideal location to begin or conclude your journey through South Africa.

The reserve boasts a variety of elegant safari accommodation, offering guests the highest levels of comfort and cuisine.
Most of our meats, fruit, vegetables and preserves  are cultivated on and prepared at the reserve,
emphasising our commitment to organic, eco-friendly and sustainable agricultural practises.

Giraffe, hippo, zebra, blue wildebeest and eland are just a few of the many  species that roam freely
throughout the 1400ha wildlife reserve.  The reserve is staffed with a team who are passionate about the environment,
customer service and catering to the needs of discerning guests.
