Founded in 1995 by professional hunter & outfitter Greg Edwards, run together with his wife Jacqui, Magersfontein Safaris not only offers the thrill of a hunting safari, but is unique in that the property is steeped in the history of the Battle of Magersfontein which took place in 1899.

Three memorials and a museum dedicated to this battle highlight the epic struggle between the Boers and the British.
