The house was finished with good quality fittings and furniture and has three en-suite double bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with full size stove, oven and fridge with freezer. Between the living area and veranda are folding doors which allows nature into the house. There is a spacious lapa where one can easily lose track of time while enjoying the fresh air and sounds of the surrounding nature. There is a wide variety of wildlife – birds, vervet monkeys, kudu, steenbok, blue duiker, dassies (hyraxes), various rabbit species and other smaller animals like tortoises, meerkat and veld mice. The species less seen but present in the vicinity are cheetah, various fox species, leopard, aardvark, genets (muskeljaatkatte) and baboons. Then there are also the less loved species like snakes and scorpions, but with good awareness and common sense, they are no threat. The most venomous species present are the Cape Cobra and the Puff Adder.
