Omuwiwe Hunting Safaris was established by Pieter Scott in 2011, and hunting was carried out on a 26,200 acre (10,600 ha) farm in the Omaruru area, Erongo Region of Namibia. Due to the unexpected growth of this operation, Dian Jacobs joined the company as co-owner in 2017. The hunting grounds expanded by an additional 173,000 acre (70,000 ha) hunting area on cattle and game farms in the Omaruru district (Erongo Region) and Outjo district (Kunene Region), as well as a 395,400 acre
(160,000 ha) area in the Huab Concession, Damaraland (Kunene Region).

Besides abundant wildlife available for hunting, the above areas are paradises for bird watching enthusiasts.
